Cheesy Garlic Loaf


1 large loaf of hard bread
3 cloves garlic
1 cup shredded cheese
100 g ( 1/2 stick ) butter
Grate your garlic by hand or use the ones that come in a jar. Set aside.
Melt the butter in the microwave.
Add garlic and mix to combine.
Tear parsley with hands and discard stems.
Chop into pieces.
Cut bread into criss cross pattern making sure to leave the base intact.
Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
Line baking pan with foil.
Put bread on top.
Spoon garlic butter into the nooks and crannies of the bread.
Do the same with cheese.
Sprinkle with parsley.
Cover with foil.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove foil from the top. Bake for another 5 minutes until crusty.
